ABOUT PAIGE

Paige Ross is a Senior Associate at The Beckage Firm, where she serves as a Lead Incident Attorney across the firm’s incident response practice. She counsels organizations of all sizes — from emerging companies to large enterprises — through the full breach response lifecycle, working alongside cyber insurance carriers and directly with clients to contain incidents, navigate complex regulatory obligations, and stand back up as quickly as possible while minimizing legal and financial risk. Paige has served as a Registered Foreign Lawyer with the Solicitors Regulation Authority of England and Wales, and brings a distinctive transatlantic dimension to cross-border data privacy and cybersecurity matters, advising on U.S., UK, and EU frameworks with equal fluency.

INCIDENT RESPONSE WORK

Paige’s incident response practice spans the full arc of a cyber event — from initial containment and forensic vendor coordination through breach notification analysis, multi-jurisdictional regulatory reporting, law enforcement engagement, and post-incident remediation. She has managed high-volume breach response matters across healthcare, financial services, and technology, including ransomware attacks, network intrusions, and business email compromise events, advising clients on notification obligations under dozens of U.S. state and federal frameworks alongside international regimes including GDPR and the UK Data Protection Act 2018. She works closely with cyber insurance carriers throughout the response process to develop effective, efficient strategies that protect clients and meet carrier expectations. Prior to joining The Beckage Firm, Paige served as a Cross-Border Associate Attorney at a prominent incident response firm on the U.S. and UK teams, where she built her practice managing complex, multi-jurisdictional breach matters from engagement through resolution.

REGULATORY & ADVISORY WORK

Paige advises clients on compliance with a broad range of U.S. and international data protection frameworks, including GDPR, UK DPA 2018, CCPA/CPRA, HIPAA, and GLBA. She conducts multi-jurisdictional compliance assessments, advises on cross-border data transfers, standard contractual clauses, and adequacy determinations, and provides strategic counsel on regulatory risk across sectors. Her regulatory background includes serving as a Regulatory Compliance Extern with The Ohio State University’s Data Privacy and Cybersecurity Office, where she monitored legislative and regulatory developments, developed institutional risk mitigation strategies, and advised on compliance obligations across FERPA, HIPAA, and GLBA.

Paige earned her J.D. from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law, where she concentrated in National Security Law, Data Privacy, Cybersecurity, Regulatory Compliance, and the Law of Cyberspace, and developed advanced skills in high-stakes mediation. She was elected President of the National Security Law Society and graduated summa cum laude with majors in Pre-Law, Social Justice, Politics and Government, Sociology and Anthropology, and Critical Identity Studies, from Ohio Wesleyan University, where she was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa. She is admitted to practice in Ohio.
