Juliana Cipolla is an attorney at The Beckage Firm whose work focuses on incident response for organizations, and for high-net-worth individuals that have fallen victim to a crypto fraud scheme.

Juliana is a graduate of the University at Buffalo School of Law, with prior experience as a Civil Litigation Law Clerk, a legal extern at a global AM Law 100 firm, and a Data Privacy and Research Assistant. Prior to being an attorney, she has worked for nearly a decade in the incident response and privacy and security field supporting incident response, litigation, and privacy and security matters.

INCIDENT RESPONSE

Juliana plays a critical role in advising clients through state and federal incident response obligations. Her work includes regulatory notifications, communications, plans, coordinating forensic teams, legal analysis and impact of data security incidents, and guidance on statutory compliance pre and post breach. She supports legal analytics, contributes to IR communication strategy, and assists with multijurisdictional compliance and regulatory interactions. She interfaces with our clients and cybersecurity insurance carriers providing white glove service to all parties involved. Her work includes regulatory notifications, client communications, documentation of incident findings, and guidance on statutory compliance pre‑ and post‑breach. She supports legal analytics, contributes to IR communication strategy, and assists with multi‑jurisdictional compliance and regulatory interactions.

As a dedicated member of the firm’s incident response team, Juliana assists with containment, internal and external communications, notifications to impacted persons, regulatory reporting, legal analytics, third‑party risk, related claims, and responses to third‑party claims.

CRYPTO FRAUD RECOVERY

Juliana serves as the lead attorney for the firm’s crypto fraud recovery practice, leveraging her investigative research background and experience supporting matters involving financial systems, AI driven technologies, and complex digital asset incidents. She is the quarterback for crypto fraud traicing, law enforcement engagement, and evaluation of civil remedies, including third party claims.

LITIGATION

Juliana’s litigation experience includes her work as a Civil Litigation Law Clerk, research supporting ongoing investigations and litigation, and contributions to legal analysis for disputes involving privacy, fraud, and regulatory matters.

She also supports ADA accessibility‑related cases, aligning with her work drafting ADA accessibility statements and compliance materials. Juliana has extensive litigation experience and additional exposure to mediation and arbitration, strengthening her ability to support clients in multi‑venue dispute environments.
